La nostra Casa Vacanze sorge in un piccolo paese di campagna, Montecchio del Loto a solo 8.5 km dalla bella cittadina di Cortona (Ar) ed offre due appartamenti accoglienti da 2 fino a 4 posti letto.

L'appartamento per 2 persone è sito al piano terra con ingresso indipendente ed è composto da una comoda e spaziosa camera con letto matrimoniale, un bagno con doccia, sala soggiorno/pranzo, angolo cottura completamente attrezzato. All'esterno vi è un giardino arredato con tavolo sedie ed ombrellone dove nella bella stagione è possibile mangiare fuori.

L'appartamento per 4 persone è sito al primo piano con ingresso indipendente ed è composto da due comode e spaziose camere con letto matrimoniale, un bagno con doccia, cucina completamente attrezzata con tavolo da pranzo.

Entrambi gli appartamenti sono dotati di riscaldamento, TV color, ventilatore su richiesta.

All’esterno, l’abitazione è contornata da due angoli di giardino entrambi attrezzati da tavolo e sedie incorniciati da piante da frutto (melograno, pero, caco, nocelle) il tutto all’ombra del grande cedro. Posto macchina riservato per ogni appartamento.

Da qui sono facilmente raggiungibili in circa mezz’ora di auto i maggiori siti turistici della Toscana (Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Arezzo) e dell’Umbria (Lago Trasimeno, Perugia, Assisi). Sono a disposizione degli ospiti opuscoli per itinerari turistici ed eno-gastronomici, calendario manifestazioni.

Nel piccolo paese che si chiama Montecchio del Loto si trova il supermercato, il panetterie, bar, buca per la posta, merceria, parrucchiere/barbiere, inoltre vicinissimo si trova il centro commerciale COOP (a soli 5 km). Sempre a Camucia vi è la stazione ferroviara, treni per Arezzo e Firenze (ogni ora) e per Roma.

Casa Il Cedro is wonderfully located, being close to all the major rail and road connections and to all relevant central Italian art cities, resting at the foot of one Tuscany’s most ancient Etruscan settlements, Cortona, whereas been moved “Under the Tuscan Sun”.

Casa Il Cedro is a pair of holiday apartments in eastern Tuscany. Set within the lovely country district of Valdichiana, and only a few kilometers from the beautiful mediaeval town of Cortona, it puts must-see Tuscan towns such as Arezzo, Montepulciano, Montalcino and Pienza within an hour's drive. And being right on the border with Umbria, Trasimeno, Perugia and Assisi are quickly reachable too.
Both apartments have colour TV, central heating, are comfortably furnished and will sleep up to four people. They are set in a lovely garden, and surrounded by pear, pomegranate and walnut trees. Each apartment has its own garden furniture, and the enclosed garden is ideal for dining, with barbecue facilities available.
Apartment sleep 2 is on the ground floor of the building. With a total floor area of 40 square metres it sleeps two/three people.

It comprises a comfortable living room and dining area with double sofa bed, a fireplace and well-equipped kitchenette; there is a large double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
Apartment sleep 4 is on the first floor of the house. With a floor area of 50 square metres, this flat sleeps four. It has two comfortable double bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, and a small but well-equipped kitchen and dining area.
Both apartments have window screens to keep the rooms cool, and have open fireplaces with firewood supplied. They are also centrally heated. The kitchens have oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer and coffee maker.
Car parking is also provided.

Come raggiungerci: per chi proviene dall’Autostrada del Sole (A1) da Firenze o Roma, uscire al casello Valdichiana-Bettolle, prendere poi la superstrada Siena-Perugia direzione di Perugia.Troverete due uscite per Cortona: la prima “Foiano” seguendo le indicazioni per Cortona attraverserete il piccolo centro di Farneta dove incontrerete l’omonimo Hotel (di color rosa). Continuerete per circa 6 km dove sulla destra troverete le indicazioni per Montecchio. Arrivati al centro del paese troverete il BAR dove potrete fermarVi ed attendere il nostro arrivo.
Per chi prende la seconda uscita per “Cortona” lasciata la superstrada continuerà per circa un chilometri. All’incrocio troverà sulla sinistra le indicazioni per Montecchio, continuerà per altri 2 Km cercando il BAR al centro del paese e attendere il nostro arrivo previo contatto telefonico.

By car From A1 highway exit at Valdichiana-Bettolle. Take the superstrada freeway Siena-Perugia going towards Perugia. You will find two exits for Cortona: the first one is Foiano, follow the signs to Cortona and pass through the small town of Farneta. Continue for approximately 6 km and then on the right you will see signs for Montecchio.Those who take the second exit for Cortona from the highway have to continue along for about 1 km. When you arrive at the intersection you will see signs for Montecchio on your left. Please the only one BAR in the center of the village and stop there waiting our arrival.
